On February 10, 2008 (Sat) I finally found time to mate up my stock pigeons. I mated the pigeons, from small to large method. I turned on the lights from 11:00pm to 8:00am, which I found it to be most helpful to me. Before I placed the sexes together, about 2 weeks prior, I placed them on a health program. Well the moment was arriving fast, which I can tell by observing the call of the cock birds, and the hens reacting to my presents by wanting to mate. The loft is now cleaned daily, because of the large dropping that make it to the loft floor, have a bad oder.
This 2008, all my hens were changed with J & J Ferreira Loft. Both of our lofts kept the pairs together for the second year which produced very good babies in 2007. Well, all of the pairs did mate without any fighting.
